We believe that all of our young people deserve respect – engendered by positive relationships and role models, personal study programmes and formal recognition of achievements. We provide an environment which encourages our pupils to discover that learning can be a healing process for the discouraged. Our teaching is based upon targeted interventions aimed at raising self-esteem and feelings of self-worth, frequent realistic rewards, progress measured as growth in ability and discouragement of negative competition.
